I've come to realize that the year 2009 is quickly coming to an end and so far this entire year, I've uploaded just one piece of work (and it wasn't even very good work

). I'm not kidding that this has been a very busy year for me, especially now that I've only got one quarter of school left before I graduate (hopefully). That's not to say that I haven't been doing any drawing period, but I haven't had the motivation to finish any personal stuff I've started.
I've currently got a Chinese Zodiac comission in which I've only completed 1 out of the 12 animals I need done before New Year (I'm not quite sure whether it's the solar or lunar New Year I have to have them done by

). On top of that, I still need to work on my entry for the 2010
ImagiNations contest since it's pretty much the only surefire way for me to get into Disney. I don't know why I keep failing to get into the
Disney College Program. I've got one more chance to do it (since I have to be a college student in order to get in) and after that, it's gone for me. Actually, I could always try the
professional internship program if all else fails, but the positions they have open at this time don't really appeal to me.
Why so much effort on getting into a world-renown company that is WAY out of my league? Well, for one thing, it is a WORLD-RENOWN company, which means a much better-looking resume for me. Secondly, my love for Disney has been re-ignited thanks to Kingdom Hearts so I'm a lot more passionate about Disney than ever before. To be frank, I didn't really have a career goal in mind at all ever since I entered college and it bothered me that I was wasting my time, money, and energy to get a degree that I didn't know what I want to do with. That all changed when I played Kingdom Hearts and revisited the theme park I used to love as a kid (I've probably gone to Disneyland a lot more this year than I have in the past.). I'm really hoping Disney would hire me, either as an Imagineer or an animation artist because I've got loads and loads of ideas for them to work with and it'll make me feel a lot better knowing that my talents would be put to some use. (And a bit of recognition wouldn't hurt either.

)
Ideally, I would love to start up my own gaming company with my friends and develop console games and MMOs. However, my ideas for those are pretty limited and even concepts for possibly decent RPGs would only be enough for less than 10 games.
I don't know, maybe things will pan out better than I thought. I guess only time will tell where any of this will go.

Just lookin' that's all. If you're gonna thank me for 'faving' something, tell me what it is. I usually forget.
Wow, I'm amazed people actually read the text in the videos. I'm just so used to getting "what song is that?" comments while the title is right in the video.
