Wood Dragon

This is perhaps my most favorite work that I've done thus far. From a young age, I've always been fascinated by how Chinese and Japanese art is so soft and light in appearance yet feel so spiritually powerful. I can't help but be in awe of Asian art because of its resonance with the ancient world.

Okay, apartment stuff has been sorted out. Just have to take care of the utilities for the old place for two months and then that's it for my responsibilities. :D Room's a little more crowded now since my friend couldn't take some of his stuff home on account of his house being overcrowded with stuff (spring cleaning much?). Bah, but at least I have Internet now so it's not so bad.

In other news, third day at AX was pretty cool. Saw a screening of Sword of the Stranger with my friend who said was really good (and it was). Got to check out Masquerade for the very first time (unfortunately a lot of people dropped out and most of the ones that did show up were bleh in performance). What was most amusing was when my friend and I were in line along with my sister, ~Setsuko, some random attendee came up to me and expressed how much she liked my Cactuar Girl cosplay. She then proceeded to give me her voucher for a Masquerade ticket since she had decided not to go anymore. O_O Maybe I should do my Pokemon trainer cosplay next year and see how many free main event tickets I get. XD

After we had our fill of Masquerade, we then headed over to the semi-finals of Last Comic Standing, which was really good. I recognized some of the contestants from last year (though I only attended the try-outs with my friend, ~Kazaragi ). But overall, in terms of time spent, my friend and I had a great time at Last Comic Standing. This is a must-go for next year's AX for sure.

Exhibition hall didn't have much, but I managed to get myself a Zack figure at an awesome price so that was cool. (He now adorns my desk alongside Sora.) Next year I plan to get myself a Squall so that's something to look forward to.

I don't know what's going to happen at AX next year. If I keep up my current trend, then next year I'll be going on the 4th day which is the shortest day of the con. Maybe I'll do a 2-day deal depending on what they're going to have next year. I'd really like to stay at a hotel for the con, but only time will tell. Even though there wasn't much going on this year, I still had a good time.

Can't wait for the beta of Final Fantasy XIV! 8D

LOL, My drawing are worst than a third grader. :) I'm here to cheer at other people's Art. :dance: Also I was hoping to share my video about things that catch my eye (ei. wild animals, interesting ads, etc), if not, I can always post pictures. :camera:
P.S. I'n not so chubby that I'm a "bunch of friends", right? :depressed:

Ah, deviantART has a invite-only restriction for video submissions so you might not be able to post your stuff here. But you can try. :)

As for Transformers, I'm hoping I don't run into too many of the more hardcore fans. ^^;

The xenoraptor concept has been around much longer than my xenoraptor. It's your rendition so whether it's more raptor or alien is really up to you. :)
