This is my depiction of the death of Nanaki's mother during the Gi tribe attack on them. This IS, of course, assuming Nanaki was a cub back then 'cause the game didn't really specify how long ago it happened. You can just see the Lion King hints all over this drawing.  (Mainly because I used Lion King references to do this. There's not that many good Lion King pics around the Internet. )This is my first time drawing Nanaki as a cub (actually, it's my first time drawing Nanaki PERIOD), so don't be too critical of me, please. I finding it hard to critique this as when I go to fullview it's really huge. But I can't really see anything to point out as is. It's adorable and the initial emotional reaction of Nanaki is well done. Would love to see this in color with some background scenary.

All of the drawings of my Seven Sorrows of Final Fantasy VII point out parts of the different stories that are not really focused on in the game (well, except for one or two of them...). Because of that, I've intended the drawings to be in black and white in order to convey these scenes as "overlooked" in the game. However, I have considered coloring them and might do so sometime in the future.

I see, I understand now why you have it black and white, that intention makes perfect sense. Thank you for taking the time to go over that for me. And if you do color them in the future be sure to keep the original black and white, nice to have both sets ne?
